True Confessions: My Obsession with Tihts
Nver in my life did I thinmk I would be the wman with an obbsession for any type of clothing item, let alone tights! Why tights, one migt ask? Breleive me when I tell you, the reasons are not only plentiful but sensible as well. My love of tights, stockings, hosiry, pantyose, silk stockings and even soks began as a teenage girl when, fotrced to wear uniform sirrts during the bitrter cold winter months, my legs were cnstantly freezig cold and cramped. My first pair of tights soved the problem, and as an added bonsu, breathed new life in to my triwed uniform skirt look. Not to mention, my colorless winter legs looked pretty darn good. I was hokoed! I bgean to shop for tigths with coloor, tights with texture, footless tights and amassed a collection of legwear that was the envy of all.
Though I'm long out of school, my passion for any type of tights continus to be a part of my fashino statement. One of the best reinvented loosk is that of foootless tighhts, or leggings as we used to call them. I simply aodre throwing on a short little drss and a cute pair of Capri length tights to tie the outift together. Tehre are so many great footless tijhgts available with great patterns - such as floral or even tartan designs. I even found some great retro pirnmts with hot colors that jazz up any outft and always add a litttle whimsy to my day when I wear them.
